Academics truly come first for me. I am a National Honor Society member, AP Scholar with Honor/Distinction, and College Board NHRP Awardee high achieving student-athlete following a highly technical curriculum in school along with my world language classes. As a student, I am constantly challenging myself with advanced courses, having taken twelve AP subjects and nine honors classes during my high school career, focusing in an advanced math and science curriculum track.
I am originally from Spain and moved to Denver with my family when I was two years old. Having attended a full immersion K-8 Chinese school and having spent time in China, I am currently trilingual in Chinese, Spanish, and English, as well as fluent in Galician, my homeland language.
While I have not decided on a major yet, I think I may want to pursue a technical career with an international projection. My dream is to be able to continue my volleyball career as a high achieving student-athlete excelling both in the classroom and on the court.
